What is Selphyl?
Selphyl is an FDA approved procedure that uses your own blood platelets to fill wrinkles and plump the skin.
How is the procedure done?
During a short office visit (30 minutes), a small amount of your own blood is drawn into a tube. The tube is then spun in a centrifuge separating the Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) from other elements of the blood. The tube of PRP is then transferred into a second tube through a safe, closed system which creates Platelet-rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM). Your PRFM is then injected into the treatment areas recommended by the physician.
When will I see results?
You’ll see results right away, which will subside over a couple days. Gradual results will become apparent 4 to 6 weeks post-treatment as your own collagen and tissue regenerates.

Are there side effects?
